Oatlands, Edgar Dam and Lake Mackintosh

Our first view in the morning from our roof top tent was the windmill in Outlands.

Eva performed quite well as housewife...

The view over the Edgar Dam was amazing.

Our campspot was really beautiful. We saw a lot of wildlife, e.g. native birds and wallabies (small kangaroos).  It might look dangerous, but we didn't use the axe for the preparation of our dinner, but to cut some wood :-)

Brekki at Lake Mackintosh

Liffey Falls, Tasmania

After a nice walk on a sunny day to the Liffey Falls, we enjoyed our veggie stir fry in the magic pot.

Walls of Jerusalem National Park

When we woke up the first morning, the landscape was covered in snow and it was freezing cold (around -1°). This was the first snow for us in Australia.

Also the wallabies were surprised about the winter wonderland...

It was awesome... For the details just watch the video below:

Brrrr...

But then the sun came out and it was lovely.

Eva prepared the brekki.

But after some kms of walking the weather became bad again. Anyway, the nature was unique!

Here the unique Jo.

The King Dixons Hut was our next campsite.

And everywhere wallabies

On the third day we had "Eva on the rocks"!

No words...

And then it was raining men for the last 10kms.

But we survived and luckily arrived at the Mole Creek Campground and the sun was shining again.

Du hast die Haare schön! Eva went to the famous hair stylist El Joramo at Kentish Park

One day Eva felt like going to the hairdresser because her long hair reminded herself to Jewbacca from Starwars. So she spent all her money and went to the famous hair stylist El Joramo with an outdoor salon at Kentish Park/Tasmania

Before.

Half way.

El Joramo surprised her with a new colour. She was so excited! You want to see the result? Come and see her in OZ!

First impressions from Melbourne

This is the only road that leads to Melbourne! ;-)

Before we went to Tasmania (Tassie) we had half a day in Melbourne.
The sound of the Grand Prix of Australia from the Formula 1 was just impressive! You could hear the sound of the cars 5km away in the central business district! So Joram was attraced like the bee to the honey and had to find the race court. And it was possible to see and here something: All in all: Crazy!!!

Melbourne from the Spirit of Tasmania (ferry)

Joram wasted his time and all the money on the ferry...

The ferns are gigantic and as big as palmtrees...

...just the right size to cover Jo´s best friend!

We are still alive!!!!!!! The Great Ocean Road!

We are sooooo sorry! Too much to do, too much to see, too much beer to drink! Just the crazy holiday stress! ;-) Maybe the future gets better!
The Great Ocean Road - The biggest war memorial of the world. The road was built by Australian soldiers who survived World War I

No worries, we killed no Koala!

And here a small part of the Great Ocean Road with a lot of bla, bla!

After five months a sign finally told us to drive on the left side in OZ.
Good to know!
