Cape Range National Park

During our morning walk...

The view was amazing: you could see the Ningaloo Reef from the hills

What was also amazing were thousands of flies. The go in your nose, eyes and ears and are very annoying!

On our way to Exmouth

On the beach in Broom

Lollyturner just in front of Port Hedland

Massive salt hills and a long train with iron ore in Port Hedland

A huge ship in the harbour of Port Hedland

"The staircase to the moon" is the reflection of the moon on the low tide of the sea. This was near to Point Samson

Gas-fired power plant in Karratha

A dickhead apparently did not think about low and high tide, when he parked his car after launching his boat.

Huge shell at the Fortescue Mouth

Cute crabs lived in some of the shells

Fortescue Mouth

One of many iron ore mines

and the related workers town

Protest camp against the gas hub in the Kimberleys

A small group of people protested in a protest camp against the gas hub at Prices Point. This would destroy untouched nature and take the natural environment of many animals.

Beautiful sunset: the red light of the sun was reflected in the clouds and the moon was already up

Cable Beach

Endless beach with beautiful shells and much more...

New style

Willara Bridge Roadhouse and Boab Prison Tree

The perfect surprise bush dinner: Every evening either Eva, Jo or Anja had to cook dinner and surprise the other two. This night Eva was preparing "pizza bags"

We had a funny evening...

A beautiful camp spot somewhere in the Kimberley region on our way to Broom

Brekki

Eva and Anja in front of the Boab Prison Tree. This tree near Derby was actually used as a prison, hence the name the "Boab Prison Tree"

Geikie Gorge National Park

A colorful tree next to the road

The Geikie Gorge National Park. We made a nice walk along the river.

Impressions from the Kimberleys

A fresh water crocodile next to the Ord River. Actually we wanted to go fishing in this river, but we decided not to do so and instead take a few pictures...

Beautiful view from Wyndham

The Gibb River Road

No camp fire today :-(

Caution: cows crossing
