A day in Warren National Park - Marroning and tree climbing

A cool beer, a camping chair, 27°, a nice river and the fishing gear in the river to catch some Marrons. AWESOME!!!

After 1 hour Jo caught his first Marron.

Jo was very proud. We were both very curious and hungry, so...

... we immediately started to prepare our little, tasty friend.

Boil'em 7 minutes and he will be allright!

Delicious!

After fishing it was time for some physical exercise. No worries, Eva was not climbing up with her thongs as she was too afraid of the height of 90meters.

So Jo had to climb up this lookout tree that somehow didn´t fit on one picture.

First it started with big nails that build a kind of corkscrew stairs around the tree. In the top of the tree you found those ladders and platforms in  between.

Can you see Eva? It is crazy without any safety rope

But the view is magnificent.
