Here some impressions from our 2 hours boat trip from Kuala Tembeling to Kuala Tahan. Kuala Tahan is the nearest village to the national park "Taman Negara". Taman Negara is the oldest rain forest in the world.
On the way we saw some water buffaloes.
It started not like hell...
The temperatures were around 25°, a little cloudy and an acceptable humidity. All in all for two German guys quite nice.
A kind of beaver...
When we arrived at Kuala Tahan we got friendly with Eri and Kimmi. They were both working at a restaurant and were a little bored as there were very less tourists because of the end of the season.
We played a lot of cards with them and had lots of fun. Kimmie´s laughing was great!
In this kind of boat we made our journey on the Sungai Tembeling river.
Our hostel was also very nice... We slept in room four and a lot of backpackers left their marks...
... especially stuff they used in the jungle. A very important detail on this picture is the light switch that was just hanging in the middle of the corridor.
