Mongolia - Tour day 2

During our driving on the second day we saw the first holy Buddhist stone hill. You have to walk around three times and have to say thanks to gods! The colorful rags are standing for special things in Mongolia: What we remember: Blue stands for the sky, red is for the earth and yellow is for the milk.

Eva after a pee break... ;-)

The river Orkhon... On this place were 200 Buddhist monks killed during the communistic Sowjet time.

At the second day we had a horse riding trip from our hosting family to the Orkhon waterfall and around that area... Some impressions you can see in the next pics...

My horse had fun on the trip with me... Or is he just laughing on me?

  1. Hi Eva, Hi Jo,
phantastic pics from a great journey! We're sitting at home waiting for January and enjoy your blog - please don't stop this entertainment! Very impressive are your horseback riding pics - did you get some secret riding lessons during our time in Ailingen or are you just natural talents? We wish you a good time, Caro & Christian
