Christmas time

Beach near to Shark Bay

On of the most beautiful sunsets ever

For the transport of a part of a digger (probably the shovel) the whole width of the street was needed.

Before we came back to Perth we worked another 2-3 weeks on the rock melon farm. Back in Perth we saw one of Bill's tubs in a fruit shop.

Preparation for our little Christmas trip. Of course the dogs Sammy and Bill had to come with us!

Francois Peron National Park

At the entrance of the Francois Peron NP a small service point was set up for the air pressure of the tyres. There was a lot of explanation given which pressure you should use for sand and why.

Reduce the tyre pressure to 18psi (front tyres) and 24 psi (back tyres)...

For the bloody Germans, who are everywhere

The start point of our walk in the Francois Peron NP

The unique feature of the NP was the contrast of the blue ocean and the red sand next to it.

The 4 Wheel-driving in the sand was good fun.

Ningaloo Reef II

Rockwalaby

We had the beach and the beautiful corals and fish for our own.

For the last night in the NP we had a beautiful camp spot

Like paradise

We made our way south towards Coral Bay.

Ningaloo Reef

The Ningaloo Reef was one of the highlights in Australia. We saw seaturtles, colorful fish, corals, reef sharks and much more.

Sunset from the lighthouse

Those seaturtles were laying eggs the night before and were still recovering because of that. If they swim back into the sea, male turtles would try to mate again. So they prefer to stay at the beach and have a rest.

In the evening this little crab had a piece of broccoli, which fell on the ground.
