Bis bald...

Hallo Leute...

Aber was heißt aller Anfang?

3. Tausend Grüße an alle die diesem Blog folgen!

The Hell - Day 3

The first animal we saw at the next morning! Our friend little "Stromberg"... Ah no Stromberg is the guy in the TV I am watching at the moment.

The second animal that we didn´t see was a mice that robbed parts of our breakfast...

This was the observation station from inside... 10 beds, Eva, Jo, a mice, Mr. Stromberg and a lot of crazy noises during the night!

There was also a toilet at this observation point in the middle of the jungle!

The observation point!

Crossing the river...

Tarzan part I

Tarzan Part II

Leech Part I

Leech part II

Jane!

A village of aborigines.

Where´s the animal?

After 30kms, 3 leeches bites, 2 days... ah just after getting fucked in the ass...

...

Muddy!

Trip to the hell - Day 2

This looks much nicer than it was! 35°C,
90% humidity, 15km to walk! No not on nice hiking trails! On fucking shithouse jungle trails!

Jo  in the rain forest

Can you see the animal with 134523feet? It was very big!

Can you see the 3241253,3 aunts? Too big for me!

A part from the hiking trail... Jungle everywhere.

Lovely  mushrooms! ;-)

Hmm... Not the tree is bending, you are bending!

The Effi Plant!

Gigantic tree!

You have to go there! It´s unbelievable!

Butterfly with diamonds on...

Bunbun Kumban (a wildlife observation station was our goal)

Lost?! No!!!

To cross this river was only a small thing compared to the whole trip.

Eva´s first bite of a leech. We hated that animal after two days! They are just everywhere!

This was inside the observation hide!

This was the view outside of the observation hide. We were looking outside for one hour, for two hours, for three hours, for four hours and than we saw a falling leaf. Great or! ;-)

Welcome to hell - The rain forest - Day 1

Here some impressions from our 2 hours boat trip from Kuala Tembeling to Kuala Tahan. Kuala Tahan is the nearest village to the national park "Taman Negara". Taman Negara is the oldest rain forest in the world.
On the way we saw some water buffaloes.

It started not like hell...
The temperatures were around 25°, a little cloudy and an acceptable humidity. All in all for two German guys quite nice.

A kind of beaver...

When we arrived at Kuala Tahan we got friendly with Eri and Kimmi. They were both working at a restaurant and were a little bored as there were very less tourists because of the end of the season.

We played a lot of cards with them and had lots of fun. Kimmie´s laughing was great!

In this kind of boat we made our journey on the Sungai Tembeling river.

Our hostel was also very nice... We slept in room four and a lot of backpackers left their marks...

... especially stuff they used in the jungle.  A very important detail on this picture is the light switch that was just hanging in the middle of the corridor.

Malaysia - impressions from Cherating, Puala Perhentian and the jungle railway

In our lodge in Cherating (east coast of Malaysia) we had a lot of pets...

A frog in the shower...

...exotic birds in our "garden"

And too many mosquitoes! But this smoking coil drove them back...

With all these funny noises, animals, humidity and hot temperatures, we almost felt as we were already in the jungle.

All in all, the coconut inn (our accommodation) was a very nice place to stay. The owner was chatting with us every day and gave us a special discount, as we are "backpackers".

Our next destination was Puala Perhentain. A beautiful island with nice beaches and a lot of new experiences for us: one day we were snorkeling and saw reef sharks, a big water turtle, colorful corals and fish... WOW!! It's a pity that we didn't have our underwater camera at this time :-(
The next day we were scuba diving (12 meters under water) and saw "Nemos", corals...

The restaurant of our accommodation was almost flooded in the evenings, because the monsoon time was close.

Our lodge from outside...
... and inside. We decided to put up our tent because of mosquitos, cockroaches (Kakerlaken) etc.

After a few days on the island, we were heading to the jungle with the jungle railway. The air condition didn't really work in this train and so we were sweating for 8 hours... We were the only western people in the train, so everyone looked as us as we where out of another universe...

Impressions out of the train...
