Jo is happy on the jetty of St. Kilda
What a wonderful day!
Except the fact that we stayed in Coburg!
Jo could only puke, but it didn't help... Coburg is really a district of Melbourne!
After a great dinner in the Veggie Bar in Brunswick we made our way to the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). We watched the AFL Football match Richmond Tigers against the Brisbane Lions. After 5 mins we turned into real Tiger-fans! Come on Tigs, come on!!!!
Here one goal of the Tigers:
Eventhough we didn't really understand the rules, the atmosphere was great. Fans of both teams were sitting peacefully side by side, shouting for their team. By the way, you could choose any seet you like.
Compared to our experiences from the German Bundesliga, this was completely different and somehow better...
After 2 hours of really entertaining football, the Tigers won!! And we were in the Tigerland :-)
Sitting in the tram back to Coburg a friendly Melbourne girl asked us for our camera and took this picture. The funny thing was that we met her again the next day. (By the way: Eva was wearing her glasses to have a better view on the well trained football players in short shorts!)
