Beijing - Park of Temple of Heaven

While searching for a geocache we were walking around in the Park of Temple of Heaven. It was very funny as all Chinese natives were doing several kind of activities: Men (not boys) were flying their kites, others were dancing, again others were doing sport activities, others were singing in a chorus, some were playing instruments (really awful cacophony (Katzenmusik) as 4 people playing different songs within the same time)...

 

Here the chorus with very nice background music... A video would have been nicer - we know. Thats why we will buy a new camera in the next days with video function.  

 

Here you can see one of those typical sport activity areas where old and young guys train their body. You can find them everywhere around Beijing.

This was our food in the evening. What to say about the food:

1. Forget the Chinese cuisine in Germany! This is not Chinese cuisine!

2. Go to the restaurant that looks most awful from outside as you will get the best food here. Furthermore it´s very important that a lot of Chinese people are eating there!

3. Per person you need only 2-3€ including a beer for a very good meal! And you will be full after finishing.

4. If you don´t have a menu with pictures or in English language just point to a dish of a neighbor guest or just point on the menu. We were never disappointed. 

5. The food will be very spicy!!! So be careful!

6. Try donkey meat served in a kind of dough pocket (Teigtasche). Yummy!
